Comprehensive Eye Exams & In-House Optical
A complete look at your vision and your eye health
A thorough exam does two separate jobs. It determines the prescription that gives you the clearest, most comfortable vision, and it examines the health of the eye itself, where a great many conditions develop silently long before they affect sight.
Our OPD wavefront autorefractor maps the optical system of the eye in detail, capturing higher order aberrations that a standard refraction misses and giving a far better starting point for the subjective refraction. OPTOS ultra widefield imaging photographs a large portion of the retina in a single capture, in many cases without dilation, and Maestro OCT scanning produces a cross sectional view of the retinal layers and optic nerve.
Together these build a documented baseline that makes year over year comparison genuinely meaningful.
Eyewear finished in our own lab
We keep a Santinelli edger and a stock of single vision polycarbonate blue light filtering lenses on site. For many prescriptions that means your glasses are cut, edged, and fitted here rather than sent out and waited on, which shortens turnaround substantially and lets us handle adjustments and remakes directly.
Polycarbonate is impact resistant and a sensible default for children, athletes, and anyone working where a lens could be struck. The blue light filter is built into the stock material rather than added as a surface coating.
More complex prescriptions, progressive designs, and specialty lenses such as Stellest or Avalux are ordered from the appropriate lab, and we will give you a realistic timeline when you order.

Advanced imaging and wavefront refraction paired with an in house edging lab for faster turnaround on everyday eyewear.

Annually for most adults and children, and more frequently if you have diabetes, glaucoma, high myopia, or take medications that require ocular monitoring.
Not always. OPTOS widefield imaging captures much of the retina without dilation, though dilation is still indicated in certain situations and your provider will explain when.
Stock single vision polycarbonate prescriptions are often finished in our own lab on a short turnaround. Progressive, high index, and specialty lenses are ordered out and take longer.
We accept a range of vision and medical plans. Contact either location with your plan details and we will verify your benefits ahead of your visit.
